Day 1008 Clean & Sober

Good morning!  My name is Lauren, and I'm a grateful, recovering alcoholic/addict.  The sermon yesterday at my church was about, how when we complain about our circumstances we are really attacking God himself. That was really an eye opener.  With everything that is going on in the world right now, I could be complaining, and asking God, "Why?"  Or I could just trust that God has a plan. It is easier to follow everyone else and blame others and criticize and complain than to have self control and forgive.  But that shows self-control and character.  That is something I have been working on.  I see a lot of facebook posts I don't agree with, and a few years a go I would have been typing and lashing back out my two cents.  But today I have learned to keep my mouth shut because God is in control no matter who is President of the United States.
