 Good morning! My name is Lauren, and I'm a grateful, recovering alcoholic/addict. This quote was perfect for today. Well, I don't quote have a thousand, but today I have 900 days clean and sober. But it all started with one day. There were days when I couldn't stay clean and sober for 24 hours. So for me to think I have stayed sober this long is amazing!!! Only by the grace of God! And one day at a time. I could never have said that I was going to stay sober for the next 1,000 days. I had to say I was going to stay clean and sober today, and I would worry about tomorrow, when tomorrow came. I can't "future trip", thinking too far into the future. It will make me crazy. I just put one foot in front of the other and keep going. And so far so good. Yes, there have been some rock, but God is there holding my hand to guide me. I am never alone, and neither are you.
